Who is watching over whom? Who is watching over whom? Adam Curtis takes a bit of a different and more political perspective on the interplay in his three-part series from 2011, which also borrows the title from Brautigan’s poem: The great lie of the Californian Ideology and the naive promise that computers would somehow liberate humanity (what, we know even better almost ten years later, did not work at all).
